Sunny skies turned to hail in some parts of southern Ontario Sunday night as tornado warnings were issued for areas including London, Goderich and Grand Bend.
The warnings were issued by Environment Canada around 7 p.m.
CityNews viewers said dark clouds and even hail struck in several areas included in the warnings.

Environment Canada said an unstable air mass stretching from north of Lake Erie to Sudbury was to blame for the tornado warnings.
They were downgraded to severe thunderstorm and tornado watches for areas across southern Ontario around 8:30 p.m.
Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for parts of the GTA around 10:30 p.m. including York, Durham, Halton, Peel and Dufferin, Innisfil. Toronto was not included in the warning.
The severe thunderstorm watches are in place for: Owen Sound, Blue Mountains, Northern Grey County, Barrie, Collingwood, Midland, Coldwater, Port Carling, and Port Severn.
Environment Canada has issued a Tornado watch for: Watford, Pinery Park, Eastern Lambton County, London, Goderich, Bluewater, Southern Huron County.
If threatening weather approaches Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately.
