Toronto and parts of the GTA were hit by an intense thunderstorm system on Thursday night.
Environment Canada issued severe thunderstorm warnings and watches for most of southern Ontario, but they have since been lifted.
There was heavy flooding in Orangeville, and many parts of the GTA continue to experience heavy rain and lightning through the night.
